Rivanna Archaeological Services provides cultural resource management solutions to a range of clients including architectural and engineering firms, development companies, government agencies, and landowners. Our projects range from multi-phased archaeological investigations to the delineation of family cemeteries to reconnaissance surveys. In response to this diversity, we offer a spectrum of services that can be tailored to match the requirements of a specific project and achieve our clients' objectives in the most timely and efficient manner. We have particular experience working with local, state, and federal regulations, especially requirements imposed by Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act. All projects are directed by staff whose qualifications and experience meet or exceed the federal standards and guidelines for historical and archaeological research.
